Let’s face the facts…you are a doting parent who adores your infant to the end of the Universe and back, but you have to work to ensure your baby the future he/she deserves.  And while you are working to ensure your baby the future he/she deserves, you also need to find a daycare centre that provides your child with tenderness, attention and compassion – and let’s be honest, this isn’t always easy to find.

Babies and infants are constantly growing and developing, and interaction is crucial to supporting them in their development whether it be visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tuning fine motor skills, and communication.

In a day and age where maids can be abusive, babysitters can be neglectful and our parents aren’t always around to help us watch our children, spending the right about of time and attention on finding a good daycare centre is imperative.  This is where Little Human Scholars nursery and full day daycare for babies comes in handy!

Full Day Daycare for Infants in Petaling Jaya

The Baby Programme at Little Human Scholars was specifically formed for babies aged 8 months to one and a half years old.  Keeping a very small teacher to child ratio (1 teacher per three children), we ensure that your baby will be kept safe and provided a stimulating environment to grow, learn and explore.

Our teachers are specially selected for our baby programme, which is full day daycare for infants, so they can best fill a nurturing role in a home-like environment where they can safely watch, interact with and work with your child’s development.

Throughout the day, your child will be exposed to different invigorating activities such as

                    Flashcards                                    Physical Movement

                    Story time                                     Nursery Rhymes

                    Songs                                              Free Play

In this programme we also introduce our Grolier education system to prepare them for playschool one where they will learn jolly phonics before entering into our IGCSE syllabus.  We keep in mind that babies need frequent breaks in order to flourish and as such we provide them frequent rest periods in between activities.  Click here to schedule an appointment and view our centre in the heart of PJ within close proximity to University Hospital, Jaya One, Jaya 33 and Digital Mall.

Where many daycare centres merely oversee babies in their facilities, this is where Little Human Scholars differs from the rest:  they not only take an active interest in your baby’s development, but they do so in a tender, nurturing and safe environment that stimulates growth.

Little Human Scholars Baby Programme

So what exactly goes on in the baby programme at Little Human Scholars?  What activities and exercises go on that provides an environment for a baby to grow and develop happily and healthily?

1)     Introduction to phonetics

Even though Little Human Scholars enrols babies as young as two (2) months old, this doesn’t mean that the child isn’t having their own experience of the world.  Babies are very sensitive, and though they may not be able to speak yet, outer stimuli helps them to focus, develop and fine-tune their skills.  The nannies coo along with the babies and do what they can to get them to eventually mimick them, even if it takes a few months for the child to develop the skills to do so.

2)     Song time / Nursery Rhymes

Again, stimuli is important for growing and developing babies.  The nannies sing songs daily, often enunciating the words to further enforce phonetic learning.  Saying nursery rhymes also helps babies to focus, especially from repetition and patterns that are spoke during the rhyme.

3)     Story-time

The nannies at Little Human Scholars are incredibly passionate about what they do, even if it telling a simple story.  A baby in the nursery gets to experience intonations in the nannies’ voice as well as see facial expressions from up close.

4)     Free play

Every child needs a little time to explore on their own (supervised of course), and babies are no different.  We feature an activity called “tummy time” for our little tots where they are surrounded by toys and have the opportunity to stretch their little arms and legs out.

5)     Nap Time

Babies love to nap, just not always in the middle of the night when mommy and daddy would prefer it!  Little Human Scholars gives the babies ample time to rest so when they wake up refreshed, we can get back to playtime!

6)     Bath Time

The staff at Little Human Scholars understands that mommies and daddies sometimes have hectic schedules, and a bath may not always be applicable in the home.  They offer this extra service to the infants and babies in the nursery programme.

7)     Sensory Exercises

Who doesn’t like a massage?  Typically, in the morning or after bath time the babies are given a light massage on their arms, legs and backs to help support their circulation.

8)     Outdoor Exploration

Unless there is haze or unfavourable weather, the babies do go outside with the nannies for a nice change of scene.  Outside there are new sounds, smells and sights that help stimulate their curiousity.

In summary, just because a child is new to this world doesn’t mean that they don’t have needs and their own preferences.  The staff and nannies at Little Human Scholars understand this, which is why they offer full day daycare for infants unparalleled to others in PJ..  If you are interested in enroling your child into Little Human Scholars’ baby programme, or if you would like to enquire further or see one of their facilities for yourself, simply click here and fill out the form.  A representative will get back with you shortly.
