This partial lockdown has impacted Malaysia in many ways – economically, mentally, fiscally, and emotionally. As such, we wanted to send an announcement to stay strong! This has not been an easy year for anyone, but as a country we are resilient.
If there is anything this year has taught us, it has been that this interruption in our busy non-stop schedules has given us the time to stop and consider not only our own well-being, but the well-being of others. Every action we take has to be considered: we have moved from a win-lose type of mentality to a win-win mentality, and while many of us have suffered professionally, lost loved ones, and have had to pivot hard to make ends meet, a new compassion for everyone was birthed.
LHS School in PJ have taken drastic measures in order to ensure the safety, well-being, and health of our students as well as our staff. Pulling together resources and meeting the demand of our time has not been easy, but we’ve done it together.
This article is dedicated to the staff at LHS schools in PJ. They have been patient, they have adapted new methods of teaching, and they have been incredibly understanding and passionate towards management. They have shown, without a doubt, how much they love and care for their students. Together, we’ve celebrated wins and mourned losses. Though this year hasn’t been easy, we’ve stayed strong by staying together. As the old adage goes, “United we stand, divided we fall.” This has now evolved into “Separately United.”
Please, whether you are a parent of a student at LHS or not, if you simply need someone to talk to over the phone, to laugh with, to cheer on, or to cry with, we are here. We stand to support Malaysians across the country during these difficult times and do so by offering any emotional support that is needed. We are resilient, we will get through this, and we will do it together!
