Teachers are responsible for more than simply watching over their classroom – they show up before school starts and leave long after school has ended. They sanitise their classrooms, take attendance, mark progress reports, print worksheets, complete lesson plans and prep for activities to keep their students’ minds engaged. There is no job like that of a teacher.
If you didn’t know, the first week of May is teacher appreciation week. Little Human Scholars prides itself on its’ teachers. The success of the school is dependent on the educators and their satisfaction with their job. Therefore, it is a high priority of the management at Little Human Scholars Centre in PJ to do all they can in keeping their teachers happy, satisfied, and in knowing just how valuable they are to LHS and to each and every student they interact with.
Appreciating the Teachers at Little Human Scholars
First of all, it isn’t easy being hired by what some feel is the best school in PJ. All of our teachers have gone through a rigorous background check, have been trained to teach with compassion, and have been nurtured into LHS’s amazing school system.
As such, we try to make the teachers’ life easier at LHS. Not only does this promote a happy school culture, but it impacts the students as well. In short, when the teachers are happy, the students achieve more and develop a thirst for education.
Little Human Scholars preschool, playschool, kindergarten, nursery and full day daycare centre in the heart of Petaling Jaya is always growing. In the few short years, it’s been around, we have expanded to two centres and are now eyeing a third. Located near University hospital, Jaya One, Jaya33, PJ Old Town, PJ New Town, and the IT Mall, we enrol children as young as two months old all the way up to kindergarten, nurturing their development so when they enter primary school, they not only have a thirst for knowledge, but they are well-prepared for the challenges entering a new school will bring.
All of this is thanks to our wonderful teachers who are not only passionate about what they do but have earned the right to become part of our little family. Many of our teachers have been here for a while, and we are happy to keep them on board. In order to show our appreciation for the stewards of the future, we do little things like Teacher of the Month awards, staff trips, and team celebrations. We know how important it is to keep our educators happy, and we do our best to keep them happy by making their job easier so they can do what they do best: inspire the students, incite the desire for discovery and growth, teach social responsibility and emotional well-being while fostering academic success within our students.
Teachers of Little Human Scholars – this one is for you! You are appreciated, quite literally, from halfway around the world.
